We educate our patients about any dental care that we recommend. We involve our patients in decisions about their oral health because we believe that education is key in dentistry. An informed patient makes the best decisions when it comes to their oral health. We spend a great deal of time talking about dentistry with our patients and we have taken care in tailoring our website to education as well. We are conveniently located in the city of Halifax making us accessible to anyone desiring to become a new patient and we are always happy to invite new patients to our practice anytime. We are open daily with convenient daytime and evening hours and our dentists are so conscientious they have been known to come in on holidays and weekend to see to their patients’ emergency needs as well.

NADA grew up in Dartmouth. Her family moved to Halifax when she began her Dalhousie education. She began her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. After completing a chemistry degree she was accepted into Dalhousie Dental School and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. She is a very proud alumnus of Dalhousie University. Her connection to Dalhousie continues today, as she is a part time clinical instructor at the dental school.

Nada is a caring and dedicated dentist. Having two children makes her a natural with children and adults alike. She continues to take dental courses and has a very special interest in orthodontics. After extensive education she provides braces and invisalign to many of her patients.

Taking care of smiles and keeping her patients healthy is something Dr. Haidar takes very seriously. She gives generously of her time to many volunteer organizations and is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Nova Scotia Dental Association, Advanced member in the International Association of Orthodontics, and has appeared on television discussing dentistry.

When she is not practicing in her busy clinic she spends all of her time with family. She can often be spotted at Martock skiing or golfing at one of many of Nova Scotia’s beautiful courses with her husband and two children.

MARIA is the newest member of our team. She grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and has been a patient of our clinic for several years. Maria has had an interest in dentistry from a young age, thanks to influential people close to her. She attended Dalhousie University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2013, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2017.

Maria is committed to providing quality care and excellence for her patients. She practices all aspects of general dentistry, and keeps her skills and knowledge current through continuing education. Maria also remains connected to Dalhousie University, as she is a part-time instructor at the dental school.

Maria’s passion is prevalent in everything she is a part of. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her nephews. She follows an active lifestyle with her husband, which includes running, golfing, and traveling.
